Bike Bash, Football Frenzy, Nascar or whatever your event. Hold this in the parking lot of your event, but give specific instructions to your guests, as to where you will be. Don't forget to take action photos of your event and the sporting event. |

Ideas for inspiration: Parking lot, recreational vehicles, games, cheering, sporting event equipment, uniforms, mascots, sports, memorabilia, scoreboard, cheerleader, plays, grass, statistics, team mascot, trophies, pompom, TV commercials, stadium, team jersey, pennant, coach, medical tape, announcer, halftime, headphones, ice packs, scalper, playbook, finish line, checkered flag, hot dogs, soda and other refreshments. |

Invitations: Make pennant invitations out of felt, write tailgate information on them. Send in mail tubes. |

Set-Up & Decorate: Recreational vehicle, van, or large vehicle for tables, chairs and cooking grill. Park vehicles with tailgate out, leave several spaces if you can, for tables, grill and chairs. Don't forget the radio for music and pre-event coverage. If you wish to go fancy, bring linens, silverware and candelabras. For a simpler party, bring folding table, and lawn chairs, plastic tablecloth and paper napkins ... Either way decorate table and vehicle with team memorabilia. |

Refreshments: Fancy foods can include; prime rib, baked potato, a vegetable tray and champagne. A more simple affair could include; burgers, potato salad and soda. Even better, a pre cooked meal could include; fried chicken, soft pretzels, chips and soda. |

Activities: People watching is always a fun activity. You should at least toss a ball around the parking lot, but you could take it a bit farther and have some contests. Trivia questions about the game and the stadium. Guess the outcome of the event. |

Gifts, Favors, Prizes & etc.: Sports stuff: balls, bats, gloves, games. Team memorabilia, sports stuff, car racing games, trophies ... Make event trading cards using photo's of your event. |
